Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 on the 15th of June, 1996 from Stavanger) is an Norwegian music producer and a vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 receiving rave reviews from music blogs as well as from the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis group for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among her best-known songs. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. This brought her some attention. It was her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memory is of finding the piano in her attic, and being captivated by the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes urged her to make music as a means of the sake of personal development, and not for the purpose of making money or to pursue to pursue an interest. In the end, she began writing her own music. She acknowledges Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork for being among her inspirations. To counter her mother's suggestion that people ought not to aim at achieving fame through their songwriting skills, she instead be aware of the significance of them and their impact on society. When she was six She began playing the piano, and when she was nine, started writing songs. Family members didn't even know about this until she turned 14. There was no way she could have imagined to turn into Aurora. Aurora claims she loves creating songs. The music she composes is how she feels about anything.
