Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman holds an Distinguished Chair in Psychology within the University of California Davis and is the Director of its Center for Public Policy Research. It is believed that she was the one responsible for initiating the modern study of the memory of witnesses and children as witnesses. Prof. Goodman has published numerous papers as well as received numerous grants. She has also has been awarded many international and national prizes. She has provided advice on policy and research for numerous government agencies and departments around the globe. She also serves as a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of several professional associations such as the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56) Prof. Goodman is a fellow of the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as the head of the America Psychological Association's divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Family and Child policy and practice.
